One90 Smoked Meats - Dallas (NW Hwy)

I have previously eaten at One90 Smoked Meats but I wasn't much of a 'reviewer' at the time. The one time before I ordered The Beast which is a brisket, pulled pork and sausage sandwich and don't really remember it enough to comment. At the time, I figured it was a good way to try multiple meats at once at a fairly decent cost ($14).

What I got this time was a 1/2 lb plate + 2 sides meal with sliced brisket, pulled pork, baked beans and mac'n'cheese. It came with some dill pickles and a roll ($16).

So let's get to it.

• Brisket was moist and tender with good flavor.
• Pulled pork was moist and tender as well with good flavor.
• Baked beans were good but nothing new and spectacular.
• Mac 'n' cheese was good but nothing new and spectacular. Cheese was a tad bit watery.
• Roll was a roll. It was fresh and soft.

FINAL VERDICT: I would go back again and again to get the brisket and pulled pork. I may even try the sausage next time. As far as the sides, if I ordered a meal and they come with, I won't deny them. However, I may just do the meats and avoid the filler.
