Peggy Sue's BBQ - Dallas (Snider Plaza)

It's been a while since I've had Peggy Sue BBQ. So long that I cannot remember the quality of the meats that I ordered. I do remember that it wasn't horrible but it was also not memorable (obviously). I had heard that new management has taken over so I thought it was worth a newer visit since I was in the area.

I ordered one of the take out meals. I believe it was a pound each of brisket, pulled pork and ribs (or I may have added ribs, I can't remember for sure) with three sides (green beans, mashed potatoes and mac n cheese).

I was surprisingly impressed by the taste and quality of the meats.

The brisket was fairly moist, tender and very flavorful.

The pulled pork wasn't too shabby either. Had good flavor, tender and plentiful.

The ribs were good but nothing spectacular that made them stand out over other places.

The green beans, mashed potatoes and mac n cheese we've always liked so no disappointment there.

I don't remember the exact cost but I believe it was just a little pricier than some BBQ places I've had with better meats. That being said. I would not hesitate to order from Peggy Sue again.Brisket and baby back ribs.
